COMPANY HISTORY: Specialties Unlimited is a quality manufacturer of specialty and non-standard fasteners. We supply our products to the automotive, aerospace, and utility markets, as well as for general manufacturing applications in quantities ranging from 1 to 1 million pieces. The Jonke brothers, Paul, Denis, and Carl founded Specialties Unlimited in 1969 with a fourth partner, Mr. Early Harris. The business was first located in Willoughby, Ohio, but in 1983 it was expanded and moved to Eastlake, Ohio. In 1990, it was necessary to expand again, and our current building in Mentor was purchased with a new addition providing us with a 17,000 square foot manufacturing facility with easy freeway access. Specialties Unlimited currently has 32 employees and has maintained two production shifts since 1992. The experience and stability are vital components of a successful business relationship. The longevity and growth of Specialties Unlimited during the past three decades is testimony to that stability. Our experience with a wide variety of customers is an indication of our adaptability to the needs and requirements of different fastener applications.
